The sounds and fresh air of nature are always good for the mind and soul. I love being at the beach, listening to seagulls, being on the ocean where the waves lull me to relax, and hiking in the woods. It calms your nervous system, reduces your cortisol and blood pressure. I always feel at peace and my stress fades away. They even have a name for walking in the woods; it’s called forest bathing. Bathing in any outdoor natural surroundings works.
